No assets, code or trade dress from any specific title were used.
Soft Serve
Soft Serve is our own game in the swirl-the-cone genre, with a cream sim written from scratch: the rope of cream piles where it lands, and the swirl is a stack of soft hinges that sway and topple. The waffle cone, the wire stand, the machine and every coil of cream are built in Three.js, and every sound, the machine's hum, the creak and the splat included, is synthesised in the browser.
They are self-contained HTML5 games: plain ES modules with no build step, rendered on the HTML5 Canvas 2D API and sharing a small in-house engine for localisation, sound and effects. Burger Stack adds a Three.js (WebGL) layer for its 3D stacking. The surrounding site is built with Next.js and React, exported as static pages that embed each game.
