About Pipo Game
Pipo Game (https://pipo.game) is a collection of free browser games that you play with your body. Point a webcam at yourself and run, box, squat, reach and clap your way through the game — or, in our kitchen collection, cook with a mouse or a finger. Nothing to install, no account, no ads. This page explains plainly what we are trying to do, who we build for, how the games work, where we are headed, and the promises we hold ourselves to.
Our mission
We want to make the simple, physical joy of play available to anyone with a browser and a camera — for free, and without asking for anything in return. Most screen time asks you to sit still. Our goal is the opposite: to get people off the couch, moving and laughing, for a few minutes at a time. Every design decision serves three aims:
- Move the body. Punching to a beat, running in place, squatting under obstacles and reaching for targets should feel like a real, if small, workout.
- Lower every barrier. No download, no sign-up, no payment, no paywall. If you can open a web page, you can play.
- Earn trust by design. The camera is the controller, so we treat it with care: everything it sees stays on your device.
Who it is for
Pipo Game is built to be family-friendly, and different parts of the arcade are aimed at different players:
- Families and young children. A growing set of learning games teaches through movement — counting on real fingers, the alphabet and first spelling, telling the time, and science you act out with your body (the water cycle, a volcano building pressure, a plant growing from seed, sorting living from non-living).
- People who want to move more. Fitness Boxing, Pose Runner and the other motion games are designed as light mini-workouts you can fit into a break.
- Classrooms and teachers. Because games run in any browser with no install and no login, they drop easily into a lesson or a brain-break.
- Anyone without a webcam. The whole cooking collection needs no camera at all and plays in English, Vietnamese, Japanese or Chinese.
How it works
Motion games read your movement with on-device machine learning (Google MediaPipe) running inside your browser. The camera image is never recorded, never stored and never sent to any server. When you leave a game, the camera is released.
In practice: you open a game page, your browser downloads the motion-tracking engine once, you allow the camera, and play begins. Your webcam frames are analysed locally to estimate where your hands, face or body are, and that drives the game. No video ever leaves your machine. The kitchen games skip the camera entirely and respond to mouse or touch.
We keep a few small things in your browser's local storage — best scores, your light or dark theme, and the nickname you pick for multiplayer races. That data stays on your device and clearing your site data removes it. Optional online rooms send only a nickname, a room code and race position to the match server while a room is open, and nothing is kept afterwards. The full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.
Where we are headed
Pipo Game is actively developed and the catalogue grows regularly. Our direction, in rough priority order:
- More games, more variety. Keep expanding across the four pillars — move & sweat, learn & play, science, and cooking — so there is something for every mood and every age.
- Better accessibility. Keep adding non-camera fallbacks, more languages and clearer instructions so no one is left out.
- More play-together. Grow the optional online rooms so friends and classmates can race and play side by side.
- Same principles, always. Whatever we add, the rules do not change: free to play, no ads, no accounts required, and on-device camera processing.
This is a direction, not a dated promise. If a plan changes, this page changes with it.
Our transparency commitments
So you always know where you stand, here is what we commit to:
- Your camera image is processed on your device and is never uploaded or recorded.
- We show no ads and run no third-party tracking or analytics profiles.
- Every game is free; there is no paywall and no required account.
- If we ever add a feature that changes how data is handled, we will update our policy pages and the date on them before it goes live.
