How to play

Each side starts with 8 discs around the edge. Red moves first. On your turn, step one disc along a line to a neighbouring empty point. No jumping.
Gánh (carry): step between two enemy discs on one line and both flip to your colour. Several lines at once is a “chầu”.
Vây (surround): enemy discs that can no longer move after your turn flip to your colour.
Mở (opening): if your opponent leaves a gap you can step into and carry, you must take it — it may be a trap!
Win by turning every disc your colour. A position repeated three times, or too long without a capture, is a draw.
